Thanks Priyo for the succinct posting. Twitter is developing into a really important site for companies to market their products, add to their customer service support and instantly advertise promotions.

Hi Latish,

I think you should follow only your industry related people. For Example if you are a SEO, you should follow Google on twitter. That will surely help you to get desired information.

The problem I have with Twitter is that I seem to get flooded with unnecessary information which I have to wade through to get to the good stuff - which seems to be thin on the ground.

maybe I'm not following the right pages?

Hi there,
Ok, I agree twitter is a great tool for customer service, promoting ans other strange purposes out there, but this is not a community application, sorry to say this is a promotional tool with market options.
I personally use twitter a lot, however, only as a promotional and educational director tool.

Tip* to deliver updated content everyday on twitter, you can use a news aggregator or RSS feed, you can also post at planned times during the day. The max. tweets you should post daily should be between 2 and 4. 5 or more per day is overkill.

Twitter is a way to quickly connect with others, create tremendous online visibility, drive traffic,. and even market and make sales. The problem with twiter is that many people mess up their marketing strategy from the beginning. The good news here is that makes it easy for you to stand out when you do it properly.
