Highlight:

Boomtown doubled seasonal business and came up with a successful strategy to keep traffic up during offseason months, tripling the amount of visitors over the course of a year.

Client:

Launched by a brother and sister team, Lumabase is a small company offering clients beautiful lighting accessories for special and seasonal occasions, specifically for event planners, neighborhoods, fundraising organizations, and retail stores.

Challenge:

After Lumabase was patented and developed, the client wanted to offer Luminarias to more then their small town and needed a custom website to promote their product.

Website:

Boomtown worked with Lumabase to design a website based on their specifications, giving Lumabase total control their website and the look and feel they wanted. The end result was a highly accessible website—the Lumabase team could change graphics, images, content, and any sale items they needed to. Boomtown also made it possible for Lumabase to make important seasonal changes themselves; if they want to place an item on sale or upload a graphic for a month long sale, they didn’t need to rely on developers for help. Lumabase also has the ability to create their own landing pages.

Boomtown also strategized with Lumabase, and searched for and suggested other specific related products and items and advertised them to keep up visitor traffic during the offseason months. Non-seasonal products in the same category allow Lumabase to be less holiday-centric. The Boomtown team also works closely with Lumabase to customize our marketing efforts around their major selling times—holidays. We run Pay Per Click ads before the holiday season to help them prepare, and develop landing pages and holiday-oriented ads.

The ecommerce platform we provided was SEO friendly, and Lumabase was able to rank competitively on search engines for their products. Boomtown has nearly tripled site visits over the course of a year and more than doubled Pageviews. We’re excited to see what the future holds for Lumabase as they expand into more non-seasonal competitive markets.
