Why Do We Focus on Page Metrics for Ranking?
Trust in the digital world, it’s an illusive concept. And yet, most people wouldn’t buy something from a site they didn’t trust. Google knows this and Google wants to deliver the most trustworthy search results. By controlling which sites show up in search results, Google gets to make a big impact on how sites are developed and how they are marketed. Lately, it seems like Google has been rolling out its updates once a week. We’ve noticed a lot of these updates are focused on two areas; technical SEO and page metrics, like trust flow. We’ve noticed that trust flow, or quality content, links and citation, is becoming an even larger factor in the rankings. So, if you’re not focused on getting link partners yet, make it a higher priority in your digital marketing task list.
